The Via Verde della Costa dei Trabocchi is a dedicated cycling and walking path that follows the Adriatic coastline of Abruzzo. Built largely along a former railway line, it winds past clifftop views, ancient fishing platforms known as trabocchi, sandy coves and picturesque villages — making it one of the most rewarding rides in Italy. San Vito Marina sits at the heart of the route, making it the perfect base.

Do you rent e-bikes?
Yes! We have a fleet of premium pedal-assisted electric bikes available alongside our classic city bikes. E-bikes are ideal for covering more of the Via Verde with less effort, making them popular with families, couples and anyone wanting to enjoy a full day on the coast without arriving exhausted. Can accommodation guests rent bikes on-site?
Yes. Guests of Luxury Seaside Escape have the added convenience of accessing our bike and e-bike rental directly during their stay. There is no need to travel elsewhere — simply let us know when you would like your bikes and we will have them ready for you.
Do I need to make a reservation in advance?
Walk-ins are welcome whenever bikes are available, but we strongly recommend booking in advance — especially during the summer months of June, July and August when demand is high. You can book quickly and easily via WhatsApp, by phone or by email, and we will confirm your reservation promptly.

The Via Verde is a dedicated cycling and pedestrian route that runs approximately 42 kilometres along the Adriatic coast of Abruzzo, from Ortona in the north to Vasto in the south. Built on a former railway line, it passes trabocchi, beaches, medieval villages and stunning sea viewpoints. San Vito Marina sits right on the route, making us your ideal starting point.
